Ponder On This

When was the last time you went to a public hospital for consultation?

Do you know how much a sergeant that has spent ova 20yrs in the force earns? If you do then you will feel very unsafe

Have you ever seen large mechanized farming in Nigeria especially when you travel by road? Hop on d train in UK and some other developed countries I'm sure you'll see plenty

Have you(average man) ever applied for a loan and gotten it? How much?

Have you ever seen any political office holder use our public transportation apart 4m commercial airlines? Why?

How many bills did the last senator and reps in your area pass and how did it affect you?

Pop quiz: who earns more (salary + allowance), a Professor or a Ward Councilor?

Do you have any idea what happens to your constituency allocation?

What really is 'hardship allowance’?

The first 3 questions focused on Health, Security and Agriculture then the 4th is the financial sector and the rest simply shows how our democracy is being run. This are just things we experience everyday and do not pay attention to but shows the extent at which the country is declining yet nobody in power seems to care. Yes we need power but dont let them delude us with the quest to fix electricity ALONE and still neglect other sectors. All sectors can grow simultaneously and consistently till we achieve that developed state

We will have 4years of GEJ, new governors, NASS members and other political appointees the big question is HOW WILL WE HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE? Since a lot of able + capable and smart individuals av dodged the responsibility of serving their nation that then doesn’t stop us from making sure we get the best out of the lot we have representing us. We can start with our senators and house of assembly & rep members. Ofcos Rome wasn’t built in a day but they dint sit and argue over coffee or newspaper stand or write blogs to achieve it. I am doing my bit are you doing yours?
